Sales Development Representative, Cloud

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative, Cloud to join our Sales Development team. 

Reporting to: SDR Manager

Location: New Jersey, US (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule introduction calls for Cloud Security Sales Manager for further qualification or demos
  • Researching and pre-qualifying prospective companies
  • Heavy outbound activity including cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn
  • Participate in upsell/cross-sell outbound campaigns to current customers 
  • Timely follow up with leads from webinars, tradeshows, whitepapers, etc.
  • Identifying decision-makers and key influencers within target accounts
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals to maximize sales opportunities 
  • Awareness of market conditions like mergers/acquisitions or competitive positioning

Requirements:

  • Self-starter and team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The drive to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Work within the company culture and value system
  • A growth mindset, consistently working to improve your skills and adapt in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
  • Excellent listening skills, ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Over 6 months prior experience as a BDR or SDR in IT/Cybersecurity with a proven track record of consistent quota attainment
  • Familiarity with tools such as or similar to Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense and ZoomInfo is a plus
  • Ability to travel to events such as tradeshows, client meetings, company events, etc.

Advantages:

  • Experience working in a security SaaS solution organization  

A reasonable estimate of the OTE for this role, at the time of posting, is $70,000 - $100,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, location, training, and certifications. If your requirements fall outside of this range, you are still encouraged to apply.
